Windows movie maker is great software, for it allows you to edit and make videos easily for free. However,
Windowsmovie maker 2.6 cannot render videos in HD. High definition (HD) videos enhance quality and captivate the audience more. The primary purpose of this tutorial is to show you how to make HD videos on windows movie maker.

Step 1- Go to http://www.papajohn.org/
Once in Papajohn.org, look on the left side corner. Click on where it says “WMV HD”. Subsequently, click on “Introduction”. Then you will see the download links to all the HD resolutions.
After downloading the plug-ins, copy them, go to C:Program FilesMovie Maker 2.6SharedNext create a folder called “Profile”. Click on the folder and past the plug-ins

Step 2- Open Windows movie maker
If you do not have windows movie maker, go to this site to download it:

Open windows movie maker and start editing your video. -

Step 3- Render videos in HD
After you have finished editing, you will now be able to render videos in HD. On the movie settings page, select “other settings”. Select the HD resolutions to render in HD.
