Testing the Power of Pinterest

There is so much hype online about Pinterest.com.  It is currently the fastest growing social network online and it’s clever layout and image rich view makes it fun and easy to use allowing it’s users the ability to share their interested or shall we say “Pinterests” using images. Let’s see how it can be used a tool for driving traffic to your website.

 

As I sat through the show The Voice last nigh I was noticing the huge resemblance of Christina Aguilera to Snooki from Jersey Shore.  I did a few Google searches to see if this has been noticed and found allot of articles and a few looks like photos.  I decided to make my own  looks like photo as you can see below which is almost identical.

I want to use this photo as a Pinterest test to see if it will drive traffic back to my website.  My thought process behind this, is that this photo may be shared and re-pinned more than most content I would have to contribute to my business and since I tried to spin it in a way of Marketing Research, I can use the data to create more engaging content.
